Minesweeping - MID awarded for bravery and skill while serving in HM Ships Alafoss, Sidmouth, Bridlington, Blackpool, Bangor, Eastbourne, Sargasso, Dhoon, Loch Levan, lowther, Welbeck, Star of Orkney, Epine, Feasible, Miranda, Loch Eribol, Welsbach and William Bell while these ships were employed on the hazardous duties of keeping the seas clear of mines.
